Well, I suppose this is going to cost me a fortune at the rates I’m paying for the internet but I want to post a couple of pictures because we are having such a good time.
So here we are,
The above picture is Part of our trip up to Tracy Arm, a narrow deep fjord. At the end was a glacier calving icebergs into the sea.
Yesterday we took the historic narrow gauge train up to Fraser, BC from Skagway.
And today was whale watching in Juneau and we saw a pod of orcas as well as several humpback whales and Steller seals. Those pictures I haven’t downloaded yet. Fantastic trip so far.
So, I seem to have a serious computer malfunction. It is in computer hospital. I am hoping that the people there will be able to retrieve the essentials so I van maybe transplant the stuff that makes a computer essential to me to – well, maybe like doing a brain transplant.
Meanwhile, I have my iPod. A lifesaver for an Internet addict.
Things I post are not showing up.
We’ll try again.
That was interesting. Things seemed to return to normal after I posted from Live Writer. Problem seems to be fixed.
I undecorated the tree. It sits wrapped in plastic on the front deck. Wonder how long we will ignore it’s existance before we haul it off?
Zaka informed me by phone that he peed on the potty. I guess the Spiderman gitch were a good present from Santa.
This space will be a bit quiet over the next two days. We will be busy and I doubt that I will get too near a computer. Maybe I will pick up some wifi with my iPod but who knows. The emphasis will be on getting these two married.
Tomorrow we must get the boy down to Saskatoon with all the necessary paperwork, clothing and such. And we have to leave very early since we also have to get Ronin to Saskatoon for a Dr’s appt. This little guy,
has an appointment at 9:30 am to see the surgeon wh will revise the surgery done previously on his hand and that takes place on Monday.
It is going to be a busy weekend. And then we move full throttle into the next week with all of its merry activity.
I am feeling like a silent retreat is going to be needed to recover!
It is much harder being church than just going to church.
