Part of my morning readings – and my memorization in progress. I love this Psalm.
Psalm 63: 1 to 5
O God, you are my God;
I earnestly search for you.
My soul thirsts for you;
my whole body longs for you
in this parched and weary land
where there is no water.
I have seen you in your sanctuary
and gazed upon your power and glory.
Your unfailing love is better to me than life itself;
how I praise you!
I will honor you as long as I live,
lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
You satisfy me more than the richest of foods.
I will praise you with songs of joy.
Being off work, I haven’t had access to a computer, ours being in M’s room! Christmas was a blessing for me too. M produced a CD of praise and Christmas music in which he played most of his guitars and some in which he sang. I had wondered where he had been the past few weeks…..a blessing that I cannot measure, just treasure. With our daughter and granddaughter leaving us on Wednesday for Regina to meet T. there, plus learning that our sister-in-law has terminal cancer, I begin to withdraw and seek His face and ask questions and wonder why. Lots going on and not all of it good. Blessings to you and your family…..
